A delicious, medium-bodied Chianti with refreshing acidity, notes of cherry and hints of spice.
Bordeaux Supérieur 2008, Château Cru Cantemerle, France - £15.00
A medium-bodied wine made from 90% merlot and 10% cabernet sauvignon - warm jammy flavours followed by toasted oak.
Shiraz 2008, Mad Bay, Western Australia - £15.00
A fine example of an Australian cool climate shiraz with vibrant red fruit flavours and a lick of vanilla and spice.
Côtes du Rhône 2007, Guigal, France - £17.00
“A deep ruby/purple with lots of cassis, kirsch, pepper and an intriguing floral note.  The wine is medium to full-bodied, silky smooth, and a truly delicious hedonistic and intellectually satisfying wine.” – Robert Parker (90 points)
Brouilly 2009, Henry Fessy Crus du Beaujolais , France - £17.00
“This Beaujolais comes from one of the top villages … and it’s a stunner.  Vibrant and un-oaked with notes of raspberry and plum and a refreshing, tangy finish” – Tim Atkin.  This wine won a trophy at the International Wine and Spirit Competition, London 2010.
Cabernet /Merlot 2008, Vasse Felix, Margaret River, Australia - £17.00
This medium-bodied wine offers a concentrated nose of blueberry jam and fresh blackcurrants with spicy edges.
Lussac Saint Émilion 2007, Château la Grande Clotte, France - £17.00
The wine is an un-oaked blend of 80% cabernet sauvignon and 20% cabernet franc from a property owned by Michel Rolland, France’s most famous winemaker.  It has elegant dark cherry and damson flavours and is soft, subtle and delicate.
Malbec 2009, Colomé Estate, Salta, Argentina - £21.00
An iconic wine from some of the highest vineyards in the world.  The wine is intense and sophisticated with black fruits, clove, nutmeg and black pepper.
Barolo 2007, Terre da Vino, Italy - £21.00
A rich and complex wine from the classic nebbiolo grape.  Powerful black cherry and plum fruit dominate the palate, supported by a fine, nutty oak flavor.
Rioja Reserva 2006, Marqués de Riscal, Spain - £21.00
A classic Rioja with complex aromas of vanilla and toasted oak combined with summer fruit flavours.
Pinot Noir Marlborough 2009, Cloudy Bay, New Zealand - £27.00
This wine is intensely fragrant with alluring aromas of dark plums and blueberries.
Chianti Rufina Riserva 2007, Nipozzano, Frescobaldi, Italy - £27.00
The Frescobaldi family has been making wines for 700 years and the name is synonymous with great Tuscan wine.  Robert Parker awarded this wine 90 points.
Ribera del Duero Crianza 2008, Pesquera, Bodegas Alejandro Fernández, Spain - £30.00
A smooth textured wine from one of the most respected bodegas in Ribera del Duero.  An enticing nose of Asian spices, incense, violets and blackberry.
Saint Émilion Grand Cru 2005, Lafleur Laroze, France - £40.00
Made from 70% merlot and 30% cabernet franc from a great vintage. ” A sensual fruit-driven wine with lovely black cherry and blackcurrant fruit, low acidity, silky tannins and medium body. “ – Robert Parker
Bolgheri 2008, Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia, Italy - £40.00
This full-bodied wine is the second wine of the famous “Super Tuscan” estate Tenuta di Ornellaia in Bolgheri.  Rich and compelling with luscious aromatics of cassis, currant and blueberry.   Awarded 91 points by Wine Spectator.

Rosé Wine
Barossa Valley Rosé 2010, Turkey Flat Vineyards, Australia - £17.00
Rose petal pink with a panoply of red fruit flavours such as cherries, strawberries and redcurrants and showing herbal notes. Fresh acidity and an ever so slight “spritz” on the palate from naturally retained CO². Probably Australia’s best rosé wine.
Sancerre Rosé 2009, Vincent Pinard, France - £21.00
Vincent Pinard is regarded as one of the Loire’s elite winemakers. This very pale rosé is made from pinot noir grapes and has a lovely combination of pear and apple peel with raspberry acidity. This is a very classy rosé.


White Wines
Chenin Blanc 2010, Boschendal, Coastal Region, South Africal - £15.00
A fruity, well-balanced and full bodied wine distinguished by its exotic mango and honey aromas.
Burgundy, Macon Lugny 2009, Les Coteaux des Anges, France - £15.00
This is a fine, crisp, citrusy chardonnay with a whisper of southern Burgundian warmth.
Sauvignon Blanc 2010, The Ned, Marlborough, New Zealand - £15.00
This New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc offers superb purity of fruit and varietal character. A nose of nettles and grass leads to generous gooseberry flavours with a smoky herbal twist on the palate reminiscent of a well-crafted Sancerre.
Bacchus 2010, Chapel Down, Kent - £17.00
This is a splendid example of English wine – try it as an alternative to sauvignon blanc for a change.
Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon 2010, Vasse Felix, Margaret River, Australia - £17.00
Vasse Felix is a flagship estate in Western Australia.  This wine has an amazing purity of gooseberry and red apple fruits and has won medals galore.
Soave Classico 2009, Ca’Rugate San Michele, Italy - £17.00
This is a very superior Soave from one of the region’s top producers with flavours of honey, peach & sweet almonds.  Awarded 87 points from “The Wine Enthusiast”.
Grüner Veltliner “Terraces” 2010, Dömane Wachau, Austria - £17.00
This is elegant and pear-fruity with classic white pepper notes.  An unusual but delicious wine.
Pouilly Fumé 2010, Les Cascadelles, France - £17.00
An excellent example of this classic Loire Valley wine.
Gavi di Gavi 2010, Ascheri, Piemonte, Italy - £20.00
This wine is crisp, floral & peachy, from one of the region’s best producers.
Albariño 2010, Martín Códax, Rías Baixas, Spain - £20.00
An aromatic wine from Galicia, north west Spain; widely regarded as Spain’s best white wine region.
Riesling Kabinett 2010, Künstler Hockenheimer Hölle, Rheingau, Germany - £20.00
An elegant, bone-dry riesling with zesty lime and citrus flavours and a lovely mineral texture.
Chablis 2009, William Fèvre, Champs Royaux, France - £20.00
From one of the region’s finest producers, this is an un-oaked, lean and crisp wine.
Chardonnay 2008, Cloudy Bay, Marlborough, New Zealand - £25.00
Classy, slightly toasty nose with subtle hints of white peach, hazelnut and vanilla.
Sancerre 2010, Domaine Vacheron, France - £25.00
Textbook Sancerre from probably the very best producer in the region.  Fabulously aromatic nose and concentrated gooseberry fruit flavours, all carefully balanced by a rich smokiness.  Sancerre at its most elegant.
Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru 2008, Louis Latour, France - £30.00
It has a lot of finesse and elegance – a fine example of this famous appellation.


Sparkling Wine
Lindauer Special Reserve NV, New Zealand - £19.50
The 40% pinot noir in the blend (chardonnay 60%) gives the wine a slightly rosé tinge.  Rich & full flavoured, this wine has a lovely fresh toasted strawberry nose.
Camel Valley Brut 2009, Cornwall, England - £30.00
“A delicious vintage fizz with as much complexity as a Champagne grande marque.  Camel valley is a national treasure” –Oz Clarke.  Served in many UK Michelin starred restaurants.
Lanson Black Label NV, Champagne - £30.00
“My favourite big-name, non-vintage brut; Black Label remains the delightful, floral, lemony bubbly of old that hangs on to every joyous ounce of Champagne acidity.  Hallelujah!” – Jane MacQuitty, The Times
Nicholas Feuillatte Rosé Brut NV, Champagne - £30.00
A delicate, light and refreshing champers - fruity and well balanced.
Le Mesnil Grand Cru 2004, Champagne - £40.00
Made from 100% chardonnay, this is a truly fantastic grand cru Champagne from a great vintage.  Delicious!
